Now on to my card! I used a LDRS Creative stamp called GO WILD which has the cutest little party elephants!! This set also comes with coordinating dies so you don't have to cut anything by hand. The great thing too about this card is that I didn't use any markers to color the images. I actually stamped them on gray cardstock and pink cardstock, and then cut the pink out for the inside of their ears.....easy peasy!
The sentiment is also part of this stamp set. That cute, pink scalloped circle was made using Mama Elephant Framed Tags-Columbus Circle Die.

Now head on over to the 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store Challenge Blog to play along with us.  And don't forget about our March contest. You still have plenty of time to enter both!

Have a great rest of the week my friends!

Love you a bushel and a peck

Hello crafty friends!

Amy here again and I've got a happy little love card that I've made for today's post and it features a mix of stamp sets from two different companies to create a single fun scene. Avery Elle recently released this great Fruit Stand set and as soon as I saw it it jumped into my shopping cart, LOL! I so enjoy building scenes for my character stamps to live in and this Fruit Stand is so unique and different from any other scene builders in my collection. Now it does come with its own character in the Avery Elle set but because I wanted to use the "love you a bushel and a peck" sentiment I also wanted to have a cute couple on this card. So of course I found the perfect pear... oops I mean pair, in the Greeting Farm Mini Remix Boys set and Mini Remix Happy set. Seriously, how adorable are these down on the farm love birds? Sure they work hard running this little road side fruit stand but they always make time for each other. ;)
There is still time to enter this month's challenge. Kelly has an awesome $50 gift certificate up for grabs and you could be the lucky winner so get to creating and join the fun!

The Pretend Friend

How's everyone doing today?   Hope things are great!!!
If not then maybe my card will cheer you up!!!
You can't help but smile when you see all the cute gorjuss girl stamps, am I right?

For this card I used:

Isn't she sweet? I colored the background papers and the dress with Prima Color Bloom Sprays and various colored inks I had in my stash.  The flower is also from my stash.  I used glossy accents for the "pretend friend", flowers/dandelions and hair bow.

 Glossy Accents from Ranger
Mini Misti

The Greeting Farm For You Anya!

Happy Wednesday everyone! It's Rosie here with a card for 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store featuring a stamp from The Greeting Farm called For You Anya! I'm sooooo excited 7 Kids is now carrying The Greeting Farm Stamps! I have collected these stamps for years. Believe me, once you buy one you will be hooked because they are so much fun to color! I stamped her on Xpress It Blending Card with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored her with Copics.

Party like there is no tomorrow

Hello again crafty friends!

Amy here and it's Tuesday so that means I have another fun card to share. This week I got my hot little hands on this super cute Prehistoric Pals stamp set from Sugar Pea Designs and I couldn't wait to create a scene with all the great character and scene building images that are included in the set. And to really give it that picture book look I decided to do some more no-line coloring. So I stamped everything in Desert Sand ink and did a bunch of masking, then settled in for some serious coloring time. There is something really special about watching a scene like this come to life under your markers. Sure, it may take a bit longer to sit and color an entire scene but I figure it's really just swapping time that I would spend picking papers, working a design layout and finding the right embellishments on any other card. ;)

Oh and don't forget that there is still time to enter this month's challenge. Kelly has an awesome $50 gift certificate up for grabs and you could be the lucky winner!
